A first year Coventry student is doing his best to raise money for orphans all over the world. Tayek Miah, who is currently studying economics, aims to raise £50,000 through a series of events and activities for example a trek up the K2 mountain and a big fundraising funfair. The big fundraising funfair is set to be held on the 3rd of May and will start at 12 p.m.. It will be held on Kenilworth Road in Coventry. Tayek is so driven in his cause because of his love of his religion: “being a Muslim to help people is a pillar in Islam as in Charity the third pillar, helping orphans is my greatest thing I’ve ever wanted to do.” Want to know more or donate to this good cause? Get in touch with Tayek by going to his website www.tayekmiah.com
